    Cold Weather Problems
I find that my mcsnet goes down every time the temperature dips below -25. I have had 3 service calls this winter and each time the techs tell me it’s because of poor tower receipt ion, they re-align the dish and away they go. My problem is that they don't ever come out when the net is down (it seems they (the techs) don't work in cold weather, just like the dish, hee, hee) so they are unable to see exactly what is happening, and by the time they come, it’s warmed up and everything is working again. This last time, the tech suggested that the dish has to be raised higher because of the trees. He said because of the snow on the tin roof, and snow around our building he could not put an extension on until spring. So, I’m keeping my fingers crossed that the temperature doesn’t dip too low and I will see the tech in the spring. I’m putting up a TV tower along my building which will put their unit at least 45’ in the air. And then……I’ll wait until next winter and see…… I wonder if this doesn’t work what their next reason will be………………………………
